Dishes at La Cocina Mexican restaurant are prepared from scratch with only the freshest of ingredients used. For an appetizer, you might want to get the laco salsa flight, a taster of the house’s salsas with charred tomato salsa, charred tomatillo salsa, and pineapple habanero. For your main meal, La Cocina offers a wide variety of tacos: pork belly, camarones, brisket barbacoa, arrachera, chorizo, grilled chicken, lobster, and veggie.
But if you’re not in a taco mood, consider other Mexican classic dishes such as your choice of burritos, empanadas, enchiladas, or traditional fajitas. Or perhaps a quesadilla, as La Cocina offers not just steak and chicken quesadillas but the lobster quesadilla, with its blend of lobster and Gulf shrimp, a cheese blend, chipotle tortilla, red chili aioli, charred pineapple, and jicama salsa. And for dessert, you have your choice of key lime cheesecake with whipped cream and a candied lime or made-from-scratch flan served with blood orange, cocoa crumble and chocolate mousse.
