Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

You’ll be walking in the footsteps of golf legends when you play the golf courses at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. These courses have storied histories and immaculate designs, making them a real treat for all golf enthusiasts.

The Links Golf Club

The Links Golf Club, designed by Tom Jackson, is a classic links-style course that winds its way through natural sand dunes, freshwater lakes, and rolling fairways. With its generous fairways and large greens, this course is ideal for golfers of all skill levels. Five holes are along the Choctawhatchee Bay, offering great views to pair with a well-kept course.

Baytowne Golf Club

Another fabulous design by Tom Jackson, Baytowne Golf Club stretches from the Emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico to the Chocyawhatchee Bay. With its narrow fairways and challenging greens, Baytowne is a golf course that will test golfers of all skill levels. Don’t be caught off guard by the elevation changes; Baytowne Golf Club is one of the very few courses in the area that offer changes in elevation.

Raven Golf Club

Designer Robert Trent Jones Jr. called Raven Golf Club “a true modern traditional,” but we simply call it stunning. This course features rolling hills, natural streams, and pristine lakes. With its challenging layout and breathtaking views, it is no wonder that Raven Golf Club has twice hosted the Boeing Championship, a PGA Champions Tour event.

Burnt Pines Golf Club

Finally, there’s Burnt Pines Golf Club. Known as the “Crown Jewel of Florida Golf,” this Rees Jones designed course offers a unique blend of natural beauty and challenging golf. Playing this course, you’ll get a little taste of a wide variety of environments, from the bay and wetlands to pine forests.

Kelly Plantation Golf Club

If you’re looking for a beautiful golf course on the Emerald Coast, look no further than Kelly Plantation Golf Club. Located in Destin, this 18-hole course is gorgeous, particularly hole four, which features awe-inspiring views of Choctawhatchee Bay. However, Kelly Plantation Golf Club is as challenging as it is beautiful; beating par is difficult even for seasoned players. Overall, Kelly Plantation Golf Club is a scenic, fun, and challenging course that players of all skill levels will enjoy.

Baytowne Golf Club

Located in Miramar Beach, Baytowne Golf Club is one of the more well-known golf courses on the Emerald Coast, and for a good reason; its fairways are lush, and the greens are kept in great condition. Baytowne is also notable for its changes in elevation, something rare in the golf courses along the Emerald Coast. Designed by famed designer Tom Jackson, Baytowne is no slouch when it comes to looks. Don’t get too confident if you find yourself well under par to start; the course gets more and more challenging as play progresses.

Origins Golf Club

Origins Golf Club is the only of Watersound Club’s three golf courses open to the public, and it sure is a gem. This course is on the shorter side at just ten holes, making it easy to breeze through it. The majority of the holes at Origins are par threes, with a few par fours and one par five mixed in. With that said, it’s a delightful course to play and forgiving for those who lack experience.

Raven Golf Club

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., Raven Golf Club lives up to what you’d expect from the famed course architect. However, players should note that Raven Golf Club is not ideal for new golfers. This course is tough but fair; players must change their strategy with each hole. Many of Raven’s holes feature water hazards, which adds to the course’s challenge as well as the overall design.
