There are many great reasons to vacation on 30A, including exciting outdoor activities and beautiful beaches. However, don’t overlook another perk of taking a trip to 30A, all of the tasty restaurants! Along 30A, you’ll find cuisine of all types; even the pickiest of eaters will find something they enjoy here.

The team at Paradise Properties has been lucky enough to try many delicious eateries along 30A. To help you find some of the best eats in the area, our resident foodies have cooked up a guide on the top restaurants on 30A.

Cafe Thirty-A

Since 1995, Cafe Thirty-A has been delighting tourists and locals alike at their Seagrove Beach restaurant. Here, you’ll find an innovative menu filled with new spins on seafood, steaks, and more. Cafe Thirty-A features classy decor and has a large selection of wines; this restaurant is a great place for a date night on 30A. However, keep in mind, reservations are required.

Grayton Beer Brewpub

If you want to enjoy a delicious craft brew with your meal, head over to Grayton Beer Brewpub. Don’t just expect the standard pub fare here; in addition to burgers and sandwiches, Grayton Beer Brewpub is serving up fresh seafood, along with other dishes you wouldn’t expect. This brewery is kid and pet-friendly, so everyone is welcome.

Chanticleer Eatery

Chanticleer Eatery is a casual restaurant located in Santa Rosa Beach that brings the flavor. The interior of this 30A restaurant is bright and colorful; it’s definitely a fun place to grab a bite. Some of our favorite menu items include jambalaya, roast beefy sandwich, and ribeye. Please note that Chanticleer Eatery serves lunch Monday through Friday, and dinner is only offered on Thursday and Friday.

Surfing Deer

Enjoy a meal with a view at Surfing Deer, an upscale beachfront restaurant. Not only will you enjoy a delicious assortment of fabulous food, but fine wines and lively libations. Check out the Skinny Thyme Mule, which is a step beyond the usual Moscow Mule. This modern restaurant has something for everyone and shouldn’t be missed when in Seagrove.

La Crema Tapas & Chocolate

If dessert is your favorite meal, La Crema Tapas & Chocolate is a must-stop. They offer a delicious selection of savory tapas, like crab cakes and patatas bravas, but the highlight for sweet tooths is the chocolate menu. You’ll find everything from chocolate fondue and hot chocolate molten cake to seasonal fruit tarts and dessert lattes.

These are just a few of the great restaurants 30A has to offer, and you can stay close to them with a pristine vacation rental from Paradise Properties. We have well-appointed vacation homes and condos all over the area, including Santa Rosa Beach, Grayton Beach, and Inlet Beach. There’s so much to explore along 30A, from gorgeous state parks to unique shopping opportunities and so much more. However, one thing not to be missed is the Timpoochee Trail. This 18.5-mile trail runs parallel to Scenic Highway 30A from Dune Allen to Inlet Beach and is an excellent way to get some exercise while having fun doing it. Whether hiking or biking, the Timpoochee Trail is a pleasurable way to enjoy all of the beauty that 30A has to offer.

An Insider’s Guide on Timpoochee Trail

Are you thinking about checking out Timpoochee Trail? The team at Paradise Properties is here to help. We’ve created a helpful guide on the Timpoochee Trail, so you can be prepared and make the most of your adventure.

Exploring the Timpoochee Trail: Hiking or Biking?

Before you set off on the Timpoochee Trail, you’ll need to decide whether you want to hike or bike. The trail is paved, smoothed, and mostly flat, so it is optimal for both hiking and biking. However, due to the trail’s length, most people choose to bike. In either case, remember that the trail is 18.5 miles one way or 37 miles there and back. If you need a bike, there are tons of bike rental companies nearby.

Where to Park

There are plenty of places to park along the Timpoochee Trail, but most people choose to park in Dune Allen, where the trail begins. However, if you find yourself in Topsail Hill Preserve State Park beforehand, you can park and embark there, as it is not far from the start of Timpoochee Trail.

What to Expect

When on Timpoochee Trail, you can expect to take in an abundance of beauty. You’ll walk or ride past state parks, rare dune lakes, numerous beaches, and quaint beach neighborhoods. Plenty of spots provide beach access along the trail, so pack a towel and swim gear if a detour to the beach sounds like fun. You can also expect the route to get quite busy; Timpoochee Trail is a popular destination, so be prepared to share the path with plenty of other hikers and bikers.

Timpoochee Trail Highlights

You’ll experience many fun and fascinating things as you make your way on Timpoochee Trail, but there are some highlights you should be aware of before you start your venture. To start, Timpoochee Trail runs near Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Grayton Beach State Park, and Deer Lake State Park. All three of these state parks are packed with natural beauty and are well worth exploring. You’ll also see several dune lakes, unique geographical features only found in a few places in the world. You’ll also pass through Seaside, a colorful neighborhood you might recognize from “The Truman Show.”

Of course, there’s plenty of other amazing things you’ll experience on your adventure. There are countless restaurants and shopping opportunities, pristine beaches, and more.

Pristine 30A Vacation Rentals

You can stay close to the Timpoochee Trail at one of Paradise Properties’ 30A vacation homes. We have vacation rentals in Inlet Beach, Grayton Beach, Seaside, and more. To book your stay with us, please check availability online or give us a call at 850-588-7136.

There’s never an off-season for sweet treats on Florida’s sunny Gulf Coast, especially when vacationing on 30A, the most beautiful slice of white sand in the U.S. 30A boasts roughly 20 miles of pristine white sand, stretching from Inlet Beach westward to Dune Allen. Despite this fact, this picturesque beach haven remains a Southwestern hidden gem—and we like it that way. After all, there’s nothing quite like relaxing on a crowd-less beach, splashing in the turquoise Gulf water, and dining on fresh-caught seafood in a spacious seaside eatery. Today, we’re going to shine a light on the tastiest, most mouthwatering ice cream on 30A, ranging from a beloved Santa Rosa Beach chocolate “factory” to a long-standing Blue Mountain Beach staple. The kiddos won’t soon forget their week in the sun, especially when waffle cones and Paradise Properties are combined!

1. Pecan Jacks Candy Kitchen & Creamery

Most travelers know Pecan Jacks for its finger-licking chocolates, including those delightful pralines, milky toffee bars, and crunch-tastic brittles. However, families return time and time again for the vibrant, undeniably scrumptious ice cream concoctions, ranging from blueberry lemon cheesecake to red velvet cake and peach cobbler. Celebrating with friends? Try Pecan Jacks’ liquor-infused ice creams, featuring infusions of Grand Marnier, Baileys, and Kahlúa.

2. Kahve & Cream

Kahve is Turkish for coffee. And there’s nothing overly idiosyncratic about Kahve & Cream’s business model: They proudly serve Lucky Goat Coffee (based out of Jacksonville), Charlie’s Donuts (a local food truck), and Pecan Jacks’ ice cream. There’s something comforting to know that Pecan Jacks’ unique offerings are available in both Gulf Place and Seaside. The thought of munching on coffee, donuts, and ice cream on Kahve’s peaceful front patio ushers in strong feelings of grandiose getaways with the kids.

3. The Creamery

The Creamery, also known as “Blue Mountain Beach Creamery’ is the first of its kind in Santa Rosa Beach. To no one’s surprise, The Creamery still crafts some of the tastiest ice cream on 30A. We particularly relish The Creamery’s growing collection of sweet treats, including its frozen yogurts, shave ice, milkshakes, and sorbets. Unlike most local ice cream shops, it’s only one block away from the beach!

Quintessential 30A Vacation Home Rentals

After a full day of sunbathing, snorkeling, and ice cream treats in one of 30A’s finest seaside communities, return to your luxurious vacation rental for an evening to remember. Paradise Properties manages the area’s sleekest collection of 30A vacation rentals, ranging from Views from Above to Breakers and Pompano Palace. “Common” on-site amenities include Gulf views, community pools, private balconies, chef’s kitchens, modernized bedrooms, and distinctive decor and interior design.

To book a long-awaited escape to Florida’s sunny 30A, please check availability online (or connect with a reservationist at 850-588-7136).

It’s hard to imagine a more paradisal Gulf Coast destination than Florida’s 30A, a 24-mile-long utopia known to many as the “Emerald Coast.” Despite boasting some of the nation’s most pristine white-sand beaches, 30A remains a semi-secretive hidden gem, dotted with idyllic Gulf-front communities, including Seagrove Beach. The region is known for its luxurious beachfront vacation rentals, many of which are managed by Paradise Properties. Seagrove Beach itself has more public beach access points than another 30A destination. However, when you book a stay in Paradise, you’ll instantly obtain private, unobstructed beach access to the Gulf of Mexico’s genuinely breathtaking shoreline.

A Fleet of Luxurious Seagrove Beach Rentals

Interior Photo of One of our Seagrove Beach Rentals.

While 30A is home to 24 miles of pristine public beach access, there’s just something magical about Seagrove Beach, a two-mile-long stretch of sand that feels more like a community rather than a popularized gathering place. Seagrove Beach sees much more foot traffic than other lengthier strands, providing a desirable level of security and a family-first atmosphere. Paradise Properties’ fleet of lavish Seagrove Beach rentals is within eyeshot of the Gulf. Some of our most beloved beachfront rentals include Eastern Shores, Sand Angels, and Leeward I, all of which feature private balconies that tower above the beachgrass and pearly sand. You’ll have no problem whatsoever earning a prime spot near the Gulf in the morning. Other on-site amenities include full kitchens, flat-screen televisions, and near-instant access to Seagrove Beach’s finest restaurants, shops, and attractions.

Plan a Genuinely Unforgettable Beach Day

Photo of a Family Walking on Seagrove Beach, Home to Countless Paradise Properties Beach Rentals.

Is there anything more relaxing and rejuvenating than a full day at the beach, especially amid such a heavenly destination? After embarking on an invigorating sunrise jog and sipping on a cup of java on your private balcony, gather the kids and slip down to Seagrove Beach for six to 10 hours of play in paradise. The Emerald Coast, thanks to its sugary sand and microalgae, provides near-perfect conditions for snorkeling. Commonly-spotted underwater critters include whiting, bluefish, ladyfish, blue runner, and sheepshead. Mom and Dad can sunbathe, people-watch, snap photos, and read while the kiddos swim, toss the Frisbee, fly kites, play with squirt guns, and, of course, build a mighty sandcastle. Seagrove Beach is also a splendid place to learn how to surf, paddleboard, or comb the beach.

Take a mid-day break with a well-planned beach picnic, complete with turkey sandwiches, ripe fruit, fresh vegetables, and perhaps some Veggie Straws or Sun Chips. Renting a Seagrove Beach rental has many perks, including the unique ability to take infrequent breaks back in your waterfront condo or villa.

To book a well-deserved sandy escape to 30A with the kids, please check availability online (or connect with a reservationist at 850-588-7136).
